A clear picture of what a year at AVRO includes
Choosing a school is a big decision, and cost is part of it. This page explains what your tuition pays for, how the options work in plain language, and lays out the current 2026-2027 fee schedule so you can plan with confidence.

What your tuition covers
At AVRO, tuition is not just a seat in a classroom. It is a full year of small-class teaching, individualized support, and the credits your teen needs to move forward. Here is what that includes for a full-time student in Grades 9 to 12.
Small classes
Classes stay small on purpose, so teachers can teach to your teen rather than to a room of thirty.
Individualized support
Academic and wellbeing support are woven through the school day, not bolted on at the end.
The full Ontario curriculum
Courses follow the Ontario curriculum and earn OSSD credits toward an Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
A pace that fits
We meet students where they are, adjust the pace, and build on strengths rather than forcing one way of learning.
Fee schedule
The tables below list AVRO’s tuition and fees for the 2026-2027 academic year. Tuition is due at the time of enrollment and is non-refundable once a term or course has begun. When we receive your registration, we contact you to schedule a meeting to select courses, set the schedule, and discuss your teen’s learning strategies.

How tuition works
Plain language, no surprises. We are happy to walk you through the details.
Choose the right fit
Families enrol full time for the year, join for a single term, or take individual credit courses. We help you choose the option that suits your teen and your schedule.
Payment deadlines
Fees, paid in full, are due at least two weeks before the semester or course begins, and placement is not guaranteed until they are received. Payments made after the first day of a course carry a $100 penalty per course. Payment plans are available on request.
Refunds and cancellations
Full and half-year packages are offered at a discount, so once you enrol they are non-refundable. Single term-by-term courses are fully refundable up to 90 days before the start date, with no refunds within 30 days. If AVRO cannot offer a course, we refund it in full.
